Collection: Sanitizers

Food-grade sanitizers are chemicals that have been tested and certified safe for use on food contact surfaces, such as utensils, countertops, and food preparation areas.
Safety:
They are designed to be non-toxic and non-corrosive, meaning they won't pose a health risk if they come into contact with food, even in trace amounts.

Five Star-PBW is an environmentally friendly alkali cleaner. Safe for use on metals, rubber gaskets, tubing, plastic parts, and your skin.

Removes tough, caked-on debris and rinses clean.

PBW (Powdered Brewery Wash) is a patented alkali cleaner originally developed for Coors, now widely used in commercial breweries across North America. Use 1 to 2 ounces per gallon for cleaning kettles, 3/4 ounce per gallon for fermenters, kegs, tanks, and other equipment. Soak equipment overnight in PBW solution; rinse the following morning - no scrubbing required! Will not damage rubber gaskets, soft metals, or your skin. PBW can effectively clean items that can not be reached with a brush or sponge, and is strong enough to remove thick, difficult, caked-on organic soils.

Five Star STAR SAN-Star San is an acid-based no-rinse sanitizer that is effective and easy to use.

Made from food-grade phosphoric acid, safe for people and the environment.
Star San is self-foaming, which helps it to penetrate cracks and crevices.
Odorless and flavorless, no need to worry about tainting your beer or wine.
Does not require rinsing when used at the recommended dilution.

Chloroclean is also known as Diversol, SparkleBrite, B-Brite, Sanibrew and Sterophos Pink.
Here's a breakdown of the different names and what they refer to:
Chloroclean: This is the general name for a chlorine-based cleaner and sanitizer, particularly popular in the wine and beer making industries. It is usually Pink in colour.

ONE-Step Great all-purpose oxygen-based cleanser. Environmentally safe and no-rinse, One Step can be used for both homebrewing beer and for homemade wine.

Contains no chlorine, which can leave a film on glassware and corrode stainless steel. One Step is an excellent oxygen based cleanser. Requires two minutes of contact time, no rinsing required! Environmentally friendly and non-toxic.

Note: while technically a cleanser, One Step does have some sanitizing properties through the release of hydrogen peroxide. It can be used in no-rinse applications in most home brewing tasks.
