The Lalvin 1116 Wine Yeast is a species of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which gives a crisp, light, and refreshing taste to white grape varieties. Its active competitive factor allows winemakers to keep the natural fresh fruit aromas for longer. In addition, it is highly recommended for icewines, rosé, or actual red production. Alcohol tolerance levels are from 11.5 to 18%. Furthermore, this yeast is not compatible with malolactic bacteria and produces a low level of vinyl phenols (POF-).  * Product of Canada
